If you don’t see your question here, you’re always welcome to reach out.
What type of garments do you alter?
I specialize exclusively in formal and special-occasion wear for men, women, and children. This includes bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses, prom and formal dance attire, evening wear, suits, tuxedos, and garments worn for weddings and milestone events.
Do you alter everyday or casual clothing?
To provide the highest level of care and attention, I focus solely on formal and special-occasion garments. I do not offer alterations for everyday or casual clothing, including denim.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes. I work from my private, in-home studio and see clients by appointment only. This allows me to provide focused, one-on-one fittings for each garment and client.
When should I schedule my alteration appointment?
For most formal wear, I recommend scheduling your fitting 2-3 weeks before your event. This timeline does not apply to bridal gowns, which require additional planning. Please refer to the Bridal Alteration Guide for wedding dress alterations
How many fittings will I need?
Most formal garments require one to two fittings, depending on the complexity of the alterations and the desired fit.
How is pricing determined?
Alteration pricing varies based on the garment and the work required. All pricing is discussed in person during your fitting, after the garment has been assessed.
Do you offer rush alterations services?
Rush requested may be accommodated depending on availability and are subject to a rush fee. If you have a time-sensitive need, please reach out to me as soon as possible so we can discuss scheduling
What if my event date changes?
Please notify me as soon as possible if your event date changes. I'll do my best to adjust your fitting schedule when availability allows
